The Create!form® suite is a powerful, next-generation document output management solution for formatting, personalizing and delivering JD Edwards application output. A true enterprise-class application, Create!form converts JD Edwards application output into more attractive, functional and efficient electronic documents, and then intelligently distributes them over a variety of delivery channels including print, fax, email, Web or digital archive.
Forms Design Create!form Designer is an application for developing custom e-forms for EnterpriseOne, OneWorld and ERP 8.0's native PDF output and works hand-in-hand with the JD Edwards Report Design Aid (RDA) or Enterprise Report Writer. Create!form adds conditional intelligence to your PDF output structure, allowing forms to be designed without extensive scripting, complex designs or conversions. Forms design is accomplished using a sample PDF report, generated by the JD Edwards-supplied Universal Batch Engine (UBE), as a template. This sample PDF report is instantly imported (including the intelligent RDA output sections) allowing users to more easily define the form that represents each section of the report. And you always have the option of previewing any (or all) pages in your document in final format.
New e-forms are designed by simply drawing the custom form right over the JD Edwards output. Furthermore, with Create!form there is no need to drag and drop each and every variable onto the page like with traditional design tools - the intelligent Create!form Designer pre-populates the base design.
Automated Merge, Routing and Distribution When the report is submitted by EnterpriseOne, ERP 8.0 or OneWorld's UBE, Create!form Server automatically merges this PDF report with the custom form according to its report and/or version number. The merged output file is then ready to be instantly sent to any of the Create!form distribution products for print, fax, email or archive.
Transactional Document Destination Modules
Create!print® - Output has been optimized for use with PostScript® printers, however your Create!print license(s) will allow you to print to any Windows® compatible printer.
Create!email® - Emails document output automatically to recipients in real-time as a PDF attachment, embedded PDF hyperlink or email body text.
Create!fax® - Integrates with fax server software to deliver documents to a fax destination, using fax numbers retrieved from the base document or an external ODBC database reference. Cover sheet content can be personalized to the recipient.
