eSend® for PayBase

Supporting Electronic Payments with Email Remittance Delivery
Request More Information

Many organizations, despite having adopted an electronic payments strategy, fail to realize the full potential of their investment by continuing to issue paper-based remittance information delivered via US Post. Efforts to provide remittance information electronically, through EDI networks or banking relationships, can also fall short of their promise because they are costly to implement and difficult for vendors and employees to use.

eSend for PayBase breaks through these hurdles and helps organizations realize the full potential of electronic payments by providing a secure, easy-to-use solution that utilizes one of the most pervasive electronic delivery channels available — email — to deliver critical remittance information. A more efficient and cost-effective alternative to expensive EDI networks or proprietary bank systems, with eSend payees can receive emails with complete remittance details directly into their own email in-boxes.

Secure, Seamless and Cost-Saving
eSend works seamlessly with Bottomline's PayBase solution to enter and store recipient email address information. As payments are processed, items flagged for electronic payment and remittance delivery are dynamically associated. Remittance information for each payee is then formatted with a separate, secure PDF attachment and delivered via email. PayBase's market-leading security protocols enforce a password-based system to authenticate only authorized users. An additional level of security may be implemented with password protection to protect individual PDF documents.

Once installed, no additional end-user intervention is required. To minimize further ongoing maintenance, eSend may be configured so that, as new recipients are added or email addresses change, payment files are automatically updated. For those payees unable to receive electronic advices, PayBase can also format paper advices and utilize the same printers used for checks.
