Rogers Corporation Selects Bottomline Technologies for Automated Invoice Management

PORTSMOUTH, NH – February 05, 2007 – Bottomline Technologies (NASDAQ: EPAY), a leading provider of collaborative payment and invoice automation solutions, today announced that Rogers Corporation has selected Bottomline’s invoice automation solution to increase the efficiency of its accounts payable function.

With Bottomline’s approach to invoice automation, organizations such as Rogers Corporation, a global technology leader in the development and manufacture of high performance, specialty-material-based products, can eliminate manual data entry by converting paper invoices into electronic files, capturing information at the line-item level. This rapid conversion process provides users with an effective on-ramp to fully automated workflow for invoice validation and approval. By completely outsourcing invoice receipt and processing, Bottomline’s customers are able to bypass more complex and costly methods for in-house imaging, data capture and archiving.

“While our existing processes for handling incoming invoices were functional, we believed an opportunity existed to introduce a new degree of efficiency,” said Michael Harrison, Financial Services Manager, Rogers Corporation. “Bottomline’s invoice automation offering will enable us to reduce paper invoice processing costs and take advantage of the benefits associated with accelerated invoice approval.”

“For any AP automation initiative to be successful, you have to first begin by finding an efficient way to take paper out of the process,” said Rob Eberle, President and CEO of Bottomline Technologies. “Our invoice automation capabilities provide organizations with the ability to tackle this hurdle and create a fully automated workflow that can be leveraged to take advantage of early settlement discounts and optimized working capital.”
