PORTSMOUTH – November 12, 2007 – Bottomline Technologies (NASDAQ: EPAY), a leading provider of collaborative payment and invoice automation solutions, today announced that it has been named one of The Innovators 2007, an annual ranking published by Bank Technology News. The company was recognized as one of 25 top bank technology innovators for advanced capabilities within its WebSeries® Global Cash Management Platform.

Each year the publication examines the most pressing issues driving technology innovation and business results in the financial services industry. Bank Technology News’ ‘Innovators’ ranking pays tribute to the 25 industry players whose contributions within the banking industry are “changing the rules of the game.”

“Innovation continues to affect the way that banks operate and address emerging opportunities around the globe,” said Holly Sraeel, Editor in Chief of Bank Technology News. “The impact of technology on financial institutions has altered the way in which they interact with customers, giving retail, small businesses and large corporations access to a vast array of choices on how, when and where they conduct their financial business.”
