Bottomline Technologies’ Banking and Finance Experts Named to Global Finance’s ‘Who’s Who’
Bottomline Executives Recognized as Leaders in Treasury and Cash Management
PORTSMOUTH, N.H. – October 26, 2010 –
Bottomline Technologies (NASDAQ: EPAY), a leading provider of collaborative payment, invoice and document automation solutions, today announced that Eric Campbell, Bottomline’s chief technology officer and Marcus Hughes, Bottomline’s director of global marketing, have been named to Global Finance magazine’s 2010 “Who’s Who in Treasury and Cash Management.”
Eric Campbell, an expert on transaction banking solutions, develops innovative solutions that address customers’ most complex global payments and reporting requirements. In addition to championing Bottomline solutions, Campbell is an evangelist for the use of industry standards such as SWIFT to reduce complexities. He was actively involved in the conception and ongoing development of SWIFT Alliance Lite. Campbell’s vision for developing rich cash management capabilities has resulted in the issuance of multiple U.S. patents in his name, and inclusion in the “Who’s Who” list for the fourth time since 2007.
Marcus Hughes has more than 25 years’ experience in international banking and technology including serving as the global head of trade services at Banco Santander. A recognized authority on the convergence of cash and trade, this is Hughes’ second year in a row recognized by Global Finance. In his role at Bottomline, Hughes advises corporations and banks on developing strategic solutions for streamlining cash management, trade and supply chain finance. Based in London, Hughes plays an important role in Bottomline’s growth strategy and product innovation, working closely with key partners, as well as overseeing expansion of the company’s brand in North America, Europe and Asia-Pacific.
“We’re thrilled that Marcus and Eric have been recognized by Global Finance. They are both deeply committed to leveraging their industry expertise to develop next generation transaction banking solutions that allow our customers to realize their strategic initiatives,” said Rob Eberle, president and CEO of Bottomline Technologies.
Global Finance magazine’s annual “Who’s Who in Treasury and Cash Management” typically recognizes executives from about 20 of the top global banks and financial institutions, as well as a small number of technology providers to the financial industry including Oracle and Hewlett-Packard.
